We are a newly formed hockey club in Ballinasloe - 2021.
We are looking for new junior players, adults and club officials for the 2022 season.
We value Respect, Tradition, Fair-Play, Competition and Enjoyment.
Competition
We are looking for a new Club Crest to be designed and we need some pictures to help us brand the club. Who better to ask than the community itself, thus we are reaching out to the local schools in the area to see if they can help us here.

Club Crest
The design of the Club Crest will be with us for many years to come and so its an opportunity for a little creativity from someone artistic to design it for us. Our current crest is pictured here - can you improve on it?
Competition 2
Lions Hockey!
The club needs more than a crest - as we are a new club and we need some cool and trendy images to put on our club gear - something that relates to our club name or Ballinasloe itself.
Competition is limited to the Local Schools in the area that are listed below
School Prize
School visit by member of Ireland Women's Hockey Team - Olympic Player
The school with the winning pupil who designs the club crest will receive a visit from a member of the Irish Women's Hockey Team. She will present the winner with their prize and deliver a hockey session to all their class on the day.
Individual Prizes
The winner of the design competition will receive:
- Hockey Stick (With Club Crest)
- Club Hoodie (With Club Crest)
- Mouth Guard
- Shin Guards
- 4 Months free membership (Sept - Dec 2022)

The competition runs from Jan 6th 2022 - March 4th 2022, with the winner announced on March 17th .

Entries to the Crest design competition to be submitted via email to admin@ballinasloelionshockeyclub.com no later than 5pm on 4th MArch.

The Club Committee will decide the winners of all competitions and the club committee reserve the right to make a final decision on all matters related to the competition.
